Personally i think there is a fair bit of forward planning going on. Will now be easier to close the Cricket field stand for redevelopment and put a reduced number of away supporters in the north lower..... then they may never move back to the new stand. If he had pace he wouldn't be a Burnley player. He has everything else in his locker. His positional sense is good, he's excellent in the air, and he's more than capable with his feet. He needs Walker next to him, but there's never been any doubt Hjalmar can defend.

We're only two weeks into the season and VAR has already made some dreadful calls. Foster's goal today was fine. There's no chance that gets chalked off if it's Haaland vs Esteve. Foster was just stronger, there was no intent to foul, and he finished well. Brentford should have had a second today. I...

I like Luca, but he's extremely limited and isn't a big loss if he goes. He has pace, he can get you off your seat, but ultimately he runs down blind alleys and produces very little. That's why SP dropped him last season. In hindsight, it was a huge mistake not selling him last summer. He now needs ...

To lose three of these players shows where our deficiencies lie. If we were starting this season with a team containing these 4 we'd be in a very different place. We shouldn't be surprised he's injured. His track record suggests he will rarely play. The fact he's taking legal action against Man Utd for “clinical negligence” over the medical advice they gave him says all you need to know. We need to get shut of about a dozen players, sign three or four experinced PL players, and have a tiny bit more luck with injuries! I think Brownhill's agent is a Burnley fan isn't he? (Phil Ercolano). Oxlade-Chamberlain for free transfer and £30k a week with an option to get out of it after a year, I'd take. With his injury record that's a reasonable risk. That was my take as well.
