Re: Summer transfer window

I'd be happy if we signed Josh Sargent.
Good physical profile , good mobility ,  travels well on the ball at pace , good positional awareness  comfortable on both feet , high intensity work rate , hunger & determination to score goals , good hold up play , think he'd be an ideal fit for us.

Keeper to replace Trafford when he leaves

Cajuste to replace brownhill

Eriksen or oxlade-chamberlain to provide experience in the middle

Sargent

Then we have a pretty solid squad to give it a right good go
Isn't Cajuste more of a defensive midfielder and likely to compete with Cullen ?

"Manchester based".
We've had bids turned down by Salford for a young player who is highly rated. Would this be the player in question?
Yes the Salford lad (Tyrell Malcolm) makes sense although one for the U21s.
Misread " Manchester based" as Manchester United 🙄

It would be him (18 in Nov) or Ethan Wheatley who is 19 and Stockport lad

Problem is. This time next year he then has 12 months of his deal left. And if we have gone down (highly possible) we get less and we still need to replace him. Hasn't his future replacement already been signed? And if we stay up (not impossible) , Trafford has a good season and maybe an England st...

Trafford has had a fantastic season for us and he's destined to be England number 1, but I'm not convinced he'd be better than Pope for us next season if it came down to the two of them. I think getting a replacement goalkeeper in isolation isn't that much of a problem. The big concern for me is mo...

I think minimum is 2 to 3M a season but its how much over that you want to spend , some of the bigger clubs spend upwards of 15M .
