The seats most definitely didn't look new, i assume they were the ones the club had to pop in when we were in Europe.

I have. The 100 or so more than last season is possibly down to the new rail-seating seats taking up less room than the seats which they've taken out, so more actual seats.
The seatscare still in place wherevthe rail standing is, we'll atleast it is in the home section on the CF stand.

If a whole section is not working and no one can fix it quickly/ever, surely the stewards should vet the ticket and release the gate. They could keep a 5 bar gate count and add up at the end. There might be hundreds wanting to swap after the first game, so you might get chance to move to 2 seats next to each other.
You'd have to be desperate to want to swap from the CF stand, across to JH lower block 1.
Very poor from BFC that that's the only alternative block on offer.

That would be the common sense solution to all this! I thought I'd read the club had said they were going to "mirror" the seats, which would be logical and surely in most cases an acceptable way of doing it. If I'm being moved from WS13 with a great view, out to block VS9, then that's me done.
