Re: RATE THE REF - Sam Barrott v Manchester United

The point I am making is that VAR had to correct 2 of the refs decisions, therefore the ref should be marked down based on his decision making.

Re: So quiet tonight

Wonder if some still think Parker got the team selection for the FA cup wrong. 14 days later and 10 out of 12 points gained and the gap closed on the leaders?

Re: RATE THE REF - Tom Nield v West Bromwich Albion

An interesting question would be if Styles had touched Anthony like that, would the ref have given a penalty. I think we know the answer. Got to also question one team making 20 fouls and the home team making 6.
Extremely poor ref, clueless in a number of situations.

Re: Taffy

Dreadful news. Met him when I was about 18 and he used to call at my parents house every now and again for a social call. He would often talk about the previous game and couldn’t understand why the opposition side didn’t double up on him! However he was a great player and good bloke. To his credit h...

Re: Season tickets next season

I have benefited from the over 65 price for a number of years and thought the price was good value and still do. However the increase is large this year. Perhaps a smaller increase would have been better, coupled with the concession only applying if one reaches state pension age before start of seas...

Bumped into Kevin Young a number of years ago on holiday in Spain. The children were wearing Burnley shirts and he jumped up from a bar to introduce himself. Always thought Young was a good player for us.

Played football with Tony for a few years. He was a very agile and brave goalkeeper. So sad he passed away at the age he did.

Re: JBG and Brady

I also agree that there is little sympathy (almost blame) shown to Brady and JBG yet sympathy is shown to the likes of Danny Ings. Interesting since start of 2015-2016 season stats show JBG 140 apps (100 PL), Brady 126 (103PL) and Ings 81 apps (81 PL).
