Re: Pubs for tomorrow
The only decent thing about City away is the choice of drinking establishments. Train to Victoria Pint in the Victoria tap. Walk up to shudehill and the Old Turks Head -its a Joey Holts pub, but still decent. Northern quarter/Ancoats- spoilt for choice - Castle, Port Street Beer House and the Crown...

Loads of credit due to Walker
He could have gone Saudi like some and picked up a shed load of cash. Instead he's committed to Burnley and uses all his skill and experience in a team that is going to have a real battle to stay in the league.
Well done Kyle.

Re: England vs India Third test
Which other stats are not good enough? AS for today, I would say Duckett has failed - getting out to a bad ball. Crawley has just gotten out to a very good ball. I'm not proclaiming Crawley to be in the best ever category - just that there's such a narrow focus that he gets too much stick in my opi...

I know he only got a century last game but you have got to imagine his time in the test eleven is running out. He’s got an awful average (as does Crawley) with someone like Bethell ready and in the wings you have got to imagine it’s jsut a matter of time now Crawley seems undroppable. Flat track bu...

It's not crowing, or pointless, but pathetic in the true sense of the word. It's a fact. Compare the number of posts when we win to when we draw. Flemming doesn't seem to attack the ball in the box. It's OK saying he's a 10, but watch Brownhill. He's a central midfielder. It was a good header to set up Esteve, but he did little else, unfortunately.

I would like another striker, but our bench could be Foster, Jrod, Sarmiento, koleosho, Benson and hountonji. Lots of options there.
