Re: 2025/26: Tottenham Hotspur V Burnley – Ticket Information

Was a bit odd. I was scanned twice. First as you went towards the away section and then went you entered the ground. (My ticket was in my iPhone wallet). First scan no problem, but the second by the entrance didn’t work until the QR code was opened. Click the three dots top right of the ticket in t...

Re: ARTICLE: Westley moves to Dundee

It’s an odd relationship. Sebastian Lockhead was meant to be a prospect. He went to Wolves. Ally Graham the same, and went to Forest. You would have thought we should be the destination of choice for these sort of players. I think having a vehicle for loans, reasonably close by is still useful. 2 of...

Re: ARTICLE: Westley moves to Dundee

He mentions talking to David Longwell in the piece. Funny that he’s rocked up there, given how things ended at the ‘strategic partner’ club… Wonder how many others might be keen to join knowing he is there? Could go one way or the other. Westley sounded impressed enough, however, the leaked WhatsApp...

Re: Summer transfer window

The step from U21’s to League One is still huge. Most of the lads, if not all of them, that we’ve got out to that level are the more ‘senior’ of the youth players, and those who have had loans at Football League level already. Those in that position, have either left (Richardson, Costelloe), or are...

Re: Summer transfer window

Westley move is a bit odd, as it’s looked nailed on for weeks that he’d be going back to Swindon, where he obviously played under Holloway last year. For dealing with City, you’d have to hope it’s trying to resurrect Ortega. I can’t really see them sending any first teamers our way, so my guess would be we’d be looking at getting some youngsters for the future, having seen the development of Egan-Riley, Trafford and Harwood-Bellis after they move...

We’re dealing with both sides of Manchester currently. If it’s the case that we are dealing with United, given the size of our squad, and our needs, the only player we could realistically be looking at is Toby Collyer. Looks to me as though they are filling in the “void” between Harry Potts Way and the current turnstiles, creating a larger indoor concourse after the new turnstiles on HPW, with a “fan viewing area” on the roof. Ah yes. Makes sense now with that description and the picture. That’s actually a big po...

Would expect them to both go for modest fees with sell on clauses. Same for Dodgson. I still don’t think we utilise Accy as well as we could/should. We could easily send 3 or 4 loan players their way each year; we certainly have some that can cope at the level. They are a big and physical side. Dangerous on set pieces. Good team performance overall. Savage quiet (no problem, given his age and experience) and Vetro been quite poor. Could swap Veevers and Ryan for the two of them if necessary.

I think there’s a player in there, and wouldn’t be sad to see him back. Would be a huge blow to the accountants though. Allowing his clause to be at the end of the season would have been banked on to balance out paying for Anthony and Humphreys at the same time.
