It's funny (odd, not haha). At the start, when further away, walk looks totally normal. Then there's a sort of glitch on the video and he's very obviously gingerly placing his right foot after that point.

Re: Summer transfer window

Would expect them to both go for modest fees with sell on clauses. Same for Dodgson. At the age where they are unlikely to break into our team, especially at Premier League level and won’t want to just play in the 21’s having now had Football League games and performed at that level. Best for all co...

Re: Summer transfer window

A fit Gomez walks into our best team, with his eyes closed. However, given his injury record, the fee and other clubs linked, it’s a complete myth of a link. The key to a successful market this summer is to prey on France. Their TV deal is collapsing which will financially smash the top division clu...

With the Ramsey brothers set to face each other on opposing teams next season how many other siblings have done the same professionally. I can think of the Neville bros. Everton and ManU. You’d imagine it would be time for Dodgson and Costelloe to move on, for the sake of their own career if nothing else. Imagine they are available on small fee deals with sell-ons, like we did with Dunne, Phillips and the like.

I still don’t think we utilise Accy as well as we could/should. We could easily send 3 or 4 loan players their way each year; we certainly have some that can cope at the level. Cost effective/free for them helping with budget, and close geographically for us so they can come back and train at points...

I’m at the game. Good crowd; might be the only Burnley fan 🤣

They are a big and physical side. Dangerous on set pieces. Good team performance overall. Savage quiet (no problem, given his age and experience) and Vetro been quite poor. Could swap Veevers and Ryan for the two of them if necessary.

I think there’s a player in there, and wouldn’t be sad to see him back. Would be a huge blow to the accountants though. Allowing his clause to be at the end of the season would have been banked on to balance out paying for Anthony and Humphreys at the same time.

Not selected again today. Wonder if it’s a case of the lads being released not playing so we can get more experience in those staying, or whether it’s just the older lads being rested? There’s a lot of games for them in a short space of time and might be prioritising Wednesday.

Looks like João Mendes is leaving. Only seen clips, but seems have done OK. We’re not short in that area at either first team or youth level so perhaps not so much of a loss.
