Already 0.5 points today for Europe courtesy of Hovland getting it in the neck, so to speak.
Improves the advantage, but I’d still rather see it played. Can’t be helped though.

Good job we sacrificed the cup to rest players. We might not have scored without all that extra energy, and had to suffer another 5-0.

Glad VAR saw sense. Seen them given.
It’s a penalty for me. If he’d gone down instead of getting his shot away it would’ve been given. It’s still a foul and should’ve been given. These decisions don’t help in encouraging players to stay on their feet.

Might have been better playing our first team in the cup and making 11 changes for City. I think you’re maybe saying it half in jest, but it’s exactly what I’d do. We’ll get nothing on Saturday, rested players or not, but we could’ve been looking at beating Wrexham for a place in the last 8. Gettin...

Shilton was class at his best but outstayed his welcome by at least 25 caps I thought he was past it at Mexico 86, so it seems ridiculous that he still kept the shirt at Italia 90 at the age of 40. Agree. 2 oil rich clubs in a bidding war for a keeper that doesn’t seem to have too many rivals to be England’s number 1 for the next 10+ years.

I think we’ve caved early. We could’ve got the full 40 million.

Some great memories looking at that list. Really brings home how good the Dyche era was.
The exception being the 1-0 at Bournemouth. Absolutely awful game. I barely celebrated the late winner, as the match had practically sucked the life out of me.

If it’s going to happen we need to just get it done asap so we have an established number one in, on good time.
It should only be done if our valuation is met, and within a timeframe also dictated by us. And, no matter who, or how many, they send shouldn’t alter this.
