Re: Favourite ever Burnley manager / era

Dyche hands down in terms of what he did at the club overall - on and off the pitch. Training ground development etc is often overlooked. The Mullen years were great because he really did just grab the opportunity and run with it. We were exciting to watch and he brought good times back to the club....

I took a relatively short space of time out from watching - season 2007/08. After the dross served up the previous season, I decided to put my money where my mouth was and not put myself through the pain any longer after travelling to the 2-0 defeat in the opening away game of the season at the migh...

No real surpsises there - possibly Redmond who if fit would provide some valuable experience. Don't know enough about the younger lads to comment - other than Richardson who on the odd occasion I saw him looked good, injuries have held him back sadly.

Leeds are a good side, they play attacking football on the front foot. Just like we did the first two games of the season before the squad was ripped up and put back together - Leeds haven't had to contend with that.

Matt Mills showed a bit of promise but seems to have disappeared off the radar. Don't mind Chapman - delivers well in my opinion.
