We should move out of town to a purpose built location
I can only assume this is teasing weather than purposely getting our fan base so wrong.
Being located where we at means we handle darker times better as core fans base doesn’t need to travel.

I was watching the Antwerp episode last night and noticed one of my good mates from growing up in Padiham was in it. He was protecting the gate of the mansion in the Cotswold and told the family that Jan was leaving the property over the walkie talkie. Having looked up the info he appears in 7 epis...

With parachute payments being four years when we first went up there, we have been in Premier League money since 2009. So, even if we come straight back down it’ll be at least 19 years of Premier League money. In the mid-2000’s I thought we’d never get there.

Yes, on the face of it, I agree it seems simple, but consider this... In March 1962, Accrington Stanley resigned from the FL after their unresolvable financial struggles and irregularities. That was just past mid-season. So their record from that uncompleted 1961/62 season was then expunged from th...

Anderson's 60th minute goal v Shrewsbury at the weekend was apparently the 600,000th goal scored in English league football since it began in 1888. Someone called Soren Elbech, known online as 17 Laws Guy, claims to have worked this out, but how he's done it I don't know. Would there be records exi...

I thought when they were all collectively shouting in the same note was weird but very loud and impressive. Not sure I would want us doing it though.
The Longside used to do something similar in the 80’s when we got a corner. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrnley

What dilemma? I want us to win the title, though it is out of our hands at the moment. I don’t give a crap what Blackburn do, as the other sides in the play offs are better than them so I highly doubt they’ll go up anyway. I can’t see them beating Sheffield United either to be honest, unless the Uni...

I wonder what the comparison is to a new cricket field stand that holds an additional 2000-4000. To a new stand that holds an additional 5000-10000 fans. I guess a double tier? But I wonder if the base line cost for a new stand is X let's call it 20m. Maybe a double tier costs you an additional 5m....

I’ve long considered 25,000 to be about the right ceiling for a capacity for Burnley. Ensure there are 3,000 away tickets and it means we can get 22,000 Clarets in for the big games. I know sometimes demand would outstrip that, but it’d be fine in the main. A new Cricket Field for 5-6,000 and a back...

Fantastic today. Really, really good. The way he kept calm despite the amount of provocation and dirty play on him was a pleasure to watch. Long may that version of him continue.
If he stays for a few years he’ll replace Barnes as the cult hero.

I don’t mind it. Let people enjoy themselves for a moment. Our club only gets a small amount running on anyway because of the ground design; basically only the bottom tiers of the Longside and Jimmy Mac do it. The top tiers don’t have access and the Bob Lord is too high up and the old blokes don’t b...

I went to watch Accrington Stanley v Burscough when Accrington were en route to winning promotion from level 6 to the Conference (National League), around 2002 or 2003. 1,400 in attendance and Accrington won 4-2 from memory.
Burscough appear to have tumbled down a few levels since then.

Need to be wary do Stanley. Carlise have won 2 on the bounce and if that continues next week and Stanley lose they're only 3 points ahead with 3 games to go. Carlisle have Port Vale next, so that’ll be a tough game for them after beating two teams around them, but the game afterwards is Accrington ...

Our twelfth 0-0 of the season. Equalling the record held by Tranmere since the early seventies. Not great, but the result from Bramall Lane makes it easier to swallow! UTC! I sold most of my Bitcoin at around the high water mark in January (held since 2021) for a nice 50% profit. Wondering when will be the right time to hop back in. It feels like it's got further down to go yet. I agree. I’d be surprised if BTC doesn’t break below $70K and XRP to the $1.25-$1.35 area....

I actually don’t want us to go up really, but know the club needs the money. I hate VAR. I had losing ...

He runs into the box with purpose, and because of his quick feet defenders back off and don’t challenge. The amount of times we’re getting to the by-line now and cutting it back, whereas previously were we’re checking back too early, means we’re causing a lot more problems.
