Can't say i'm into tattoos, but if I was, i'd certainly have 'Wednesday 22nd January 2020' somewhere prominent. We'd been knocking at the door for a couple of seasons and finally we did it. To see us beat MU at OT was a lifelong dream that became a reality on that cold winters night.

Really sad to hear this news. First saw The Strawbs in 1970 when Dave Cousins introduced a keyboard player into the band. Wakeman would in the short time he was in the band help change the direction they were heading from folk to prog. Whatever format, they were a great under rated band and Dave Cou...

It's hard to look past Harry Potts as he managed our greatest side. However I thought Jimmy Adamson as a coach, was ahead of the game. He was very creative and transformed the way we played with his thinking in the early seventies.

My mind always goes back to that team in the 1970s with Keith Newton, Geoff Nulty and Martin Dobson having all arrived for nothing having been dumped by Stoke, Bolton and Everton. And that team included Alan Stevenson, Colin Waldron, Frank Casper and Paul Fletcher who all came in for good fees and ...

I doubt we would have got over the line automatically if we hadn't signed him. At the reported £8m it's a no brainer and a good piece of business but I would be surprised if he's a regular starter in the PL.
