Re: New Stadium
It's very obvious you've never lived in Burnley and I would guess that your only connection to the town is the club. Maybe leave it to me to decide whether moving the club from it's present position in the town centre would be a good or bad thing for the town. I may be appearing a little harsh but ...

This is somewhat interesting: BREAKING: Scott Parker has told Belgian winger Mike Tresor to “stop, collaborate and listen” ahead of Tuesday nights cup tie against Derby County. The pair are undergoing talks with Tresor stating “I want to break free” in transfer terms. Will Magic Mike return?! 👀🔥 Fro...

If you couldn't tell from my suggested names, my post was very much tongue in cheek.
I don't see us moving or rebuilding anytime soon. The costs of a new stadium are massive and we just don't have the revenue streams to justify it.

They've already drawn up plans and reviewed suitable land down by crow wood, and also up by Hapton. 5 year plan I don't think there is any chance that could happen. I don't see why elderly and immobile fans still can't use ormerod yard, it's not like it's going to kick off or something. Everyone else can walk round. I completely agree, it isn't like they aren't using stewards anyway. I guess the issue might be fans that decide they have the right to use it any...

And this clarification on how Belvedere Road will be closed:
It will be stewarded, so depending why you need to go down will depend on if they let you. Residents and parking for cricket club will be fine. The road will be fully closed from cricket club to harry Potts way for the coaches.

I suspect this is a deliberate effort by the club to stop fans from using the Cricket Club match-day facilities, rather than the fanzone. If that is the case there will be a hard barrier preventing access to the Longside from that entrance.
