It's very obvious you've never lived in Burnley and I would guess that your only connection to the town is the club. If you couldn't tell from my suggested names, my post was very much tongue in cheek.

I don't see us moving or rebuilding anytime soon. The costs of a new stadium are massive and we just don't have the revenue streams to justify it.

They've already drawn up plans and reviewed suitable land down by crow wood, and also up by Hapton. 5 year plan I don't think there is any chance that could happen. We would have to be able to guarantee we remain in the Premier League for all of those five years for a new ground not to be a massive...

I don't see why elderly and immobile fans still can't use ormerod yard, it's not like it's going to kick off or something. Everyone else can walk round. I completely agree, it isn't like they aren't using stewards anyway. I guess the issue might be fans that decide they have the right to use it any...

And this clarification on how Belvedere Road will be closed:

It will be stewarded, so depending why you need to go down will depend on if they let you. Residents and parking for cricket club will be fine. The road will be fully closed from cricket club to harry Potts way for the coaches.

I’ve made my decision also having heard the podcast. I’m going to adjust my schedule and head straight to Burnley Cricket Club, where I have never been before a game in 30 years. Then straight into the ground at 2:30 instead of to the Fan Zone. The cricket club are a longstanding local business too...

I suspect this is a deliberate effort by the club to stop fans from using the Cricket Club match-day facilities, rather than the fanzone. If that is the case there will be a hard barrier preventing access to the Longside from that entrance.

Why have City announced the teams so long before the match? I didn't thinl that was allowed.
