I think the idea of the thread is pretty clear, it's regarding how people currently feel about the players we have brought in - not to judge it in 2 months time. It’ll be interesting to revisit it, nearer to Christmas. For now, it’s an 8 from me. Love that we look more well covered and balanced tha...

Plenty positives to take from that second half, alongside plenty of learnings defensively, throughout the game. Whatever the view of the penalty, Anthony shouldn’t have given that option by pulling his shirt. I still think we are 3 players short and need to look at Hannibal. I’m not criticising his...

Had Walker not signed for us, there would be no clamour for him to be in the squad, so no arguments from me. If he puts in some quality performances between now and the next selection time, maybe that will change, but for now, fair do’s. I’ve seen nothing of Henderson so can’t really comment, but it...

A right wing back would be my top priority. I think we are fine at centre half, once Humphries is back in. The only noticeable difference seemed to be how dull it was in the store. Not sure if they had a lighting issue or are trying to cut costs by reducing the leccy bill!

Even if Brownhill did sign back on, we would still need another midfielder. We really need another for the holding roll. Equally, we really need to bring a striker in.
So, assuming Trafford has gone, we need a minimum of three, ideally all of better quality than we have.
