Sadly, I’m convinced that they’re going to go up, this time.

Everyone below them seems intent on not putting up any sort of challenge, despite City not being on the best run themselves.

It’ll be reet - a promotion will only be a blip and they’ll be back down to their rightful division soon enough.

The odds are against, and probably widening year on year, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that a team without wealthy owners, or parachute payments, can be promoted. The red button coverage is full on amateur. Commentators mention x player and camera pans to said player whilst the game is going on (and he’s not involved). Add that to multiple shots of managers or the crowd whilst the game is in play. Today’s took the biscuit when they completely missed the goal....
