Re: Have we sold out to owners to take us sideways ?

My take is the new owners want to build us on and off the pitch, but in order to raise the money for the former, they have to do the second, first. Raising Burnleys profile, and squeezing every penny from it, is the only way to raise the funds needed to improve the squad, or more importantly compete...

I'd like to see what Collins can do at RB, with Tarks and Mee in the middle. Nothing against Lowton, it would be an interesting exercise seeing as he possesses a good long ball and has played there for Stoke..

With so many EFL clubs on the brink, having someone on board who knows how to screw your creditors, and get away with it, might seem like a good idea. He should have been banned for life for what he did at Leeds. The only positive was it screwed Leeds as well as the creditors, although it should als...

So many great memories of Uwe, especially the 4 against Norwich, didn't Ted MacDougal bag a hattrick for them.

Hillsborough 1974. When Wembley finals meant so much and I was certain we would get there. Hillsborough, it's still hard to take even after all this time. To play so well and lose made it worse. If they'd outplayed us it would have hurt, but you could write it off, but to dominate and get beat. The knock on effects from losing that one match probably had more repercussions for us over the...

That’s not true. Kane was brilliant in the first half and was instrumental in linking play, as demonstrated by our goal. Apart from one pass in the build up to our goal, they had Kane in their pocket. It isn't about who is the better footballer, but Danny is a far more like for like replacement for Aguero than Kane could ever be.
