No mention of the Clarets but quite a nice article about his career. Great photo of him with Michael Thomas at Liverpool when Arsenal won the league at Anfield.

Hi syko, I have a picture of the dressing rooms at the turf. Sadly they do include a picture of a sad old git - but you could edit him out! I also have a picture of your seat from the singing ringing tree. However, you are not in that one. For a small fee (free copy of the tremendous forthcoming epi...

Re: Martin McGuinness

Why did McGuiness deem it necessary to commit acts of atrocity against civilians? (BTW is Mrs Tebbit really a civilian). If successive British Governments had engaged in serious discussion about Ireland with the IRA long ago most of the worst of the disgusting acts could have been avoided. British s...

If Ireland was so troublesome, as many on here point out. Why did the ENGLISH decide to keep Ireland as part of their empire for so long? Why not let a troubled and poor country go its own way in 1922 and free it? Could there just possibly be an ulterior motive? I suggest Manpower, raw resources to ...

The origins of the excidence of fascist was actually written by Umberto Eco. Eco wrote “Ur-Fascism” in 1995, an essay on how to recognize fascism, a piece dismally topical in the face of Daisy May lour current PM. For every point about Corbyn read May, and substitute your own alternative definitions...

C/T we used to (indeed still do) drink in Talbot before game. Beer in Bob Lord directors lounge was dearer than pub. Another reason we wanted out after match. Seem to remember though we were "encouraged" to go at final whistle. So you probably did ok out of match ball sponsorship!
