Re: Liverpool fans
I got a lift to the Turf from a Liverpool fan for the match. (I'm not very well at the moment.) We both enjoyed a pint in the bridge before the game and sat together in the JHU as he was able to get a ticket through the exchange after being allocated a clarets number by an understanding ticket offic...

Re: Access for home fans
The crowd density was fine when I left early. Looks okay in the posted pictures of full time I ve never noticed fire risks, but I m not an expert.
Please let's all take it easy and don't shove our way out to keep the crowd density safe for all.

Where’s the similarities between those three disasters and having to leave through a sufficiently wide exit, albeit at a slightly slower pace? Classless post. I'm sorry for the delay in responding but I would simply point to the Wikipedia article "Crowd collapses and crushes." All is fine until an ...

Re: A week on an NHS Ward
I had twelve hours in A&E in my local NHS hospital in considerable pain from bones broken in a fall a couple of weeks ago as revealed by a CT scan. I was given over the counter pain relief but no food and directed to the water fountain for liquids. Part of my medical history is epilepsy but nobody a...

Re: Is everyone looking forward to the season ?
I'd be looking forward to it more if I knew more of the squad as our players. I looked at the squad numbers released by the club the other day and wondered how they had earned the right to be playing for BFC in the top division of the football league. Perhaps it was better when we only changed a few...

Portugal v Spain shows what a game between two teams who want to play a game of football looks like. Yesterday showed something quite different.

I'm going to stick my head over the parapet: I ALWAYS leave early or late. Despite the words of the old blues classic I'm going to expound on some reasons why. I'm frail and the unsympathetic crush at the end of the match is an accident waiting to happen. There is a long tradition at the Turf of lea...

Watford?
No where near as unforgivable, at least in terms of costs and effort in the journey.
And we didn't have to put up with Linaker popping out of the unusually positioned commentary box to give us clarets a sad look.
It explains the rare appearance of Troy Deaney as an expert.
