Of the set for release lists, Cresswell and Cairney would be good experience/rotation players. Wilson would be a great signing, he’s up there with Nugent who just seems to score every time he plays us

Re: THE SUPER CLARETS vs Norwich City - Match Thread
Cullen has to stay on, Laurent isn’t the player to sit back, break everything up and keep the ball. Brownhill can do that role as a shoe-in but we need him floating around the middle linking the play between midfield and attack. I’m sure Parker will have a word with Cullen not to do anything stupid,...

Unfortunately we’ll never see him in a Burnley shirt. We missed the boat on this when he left Birmingham.
Great talent, £25m in today’s market is an absolutely steal. I have a feeling Dortmund will be looking at him and replicate his brothers journey/development.

We are to easy to set up against. An experienced manager like Mowbray with experienced pros knew exactly what to do to interrupt the flow, and they aren’t a bad team either. Disappointing at the end but it’s a point gained for me.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
Regardless of how little contact Brownhill makes, dangling a leg there will always make the attacker go down and gives the ref a decision to make. We’d all be asking for it up the other end. This ref has been terrible every time we’ve had him. Expecting plenty more shite decisions as the game plays ...

I can't see that working out well against Wednesday. If we can’t trust Pires against Callum Paterson then may as well release him on a free. No such game in the FA Cup. Lincoln at home ring any bells?
City away, get pumped 4-0, focus on winning the league.
The only benefit of a PL tie could be the potential for us to see how SP would set up against a PL side, and see just how far off we would be next season, should we go up.

Personally think the weather is suiting us. We play short sharp on the floor passes which isn’t much of an issue, it’s teams that don’t play that/aren’t as good on the ball who struggle. Which is why we’ve won so many of the loose balls back. I’d like to see us really finish a team off though. If we...
