Protaras is very nice. Greek island for me in September, just not sure which yet. I’ll book nearer the time and hopefully get a decent half board deal somewhere. Kos is excellent imo KK , if you haven't been. Kos town is lovely with all the boats in the harbour lit up at night and giving trips out ...

Re: England vs India Third test
Pretty academic now, of course, but if Siraj had his wits and his bearings about him on that last delivery, could he have kicked the ball away as it trickled towards the stumps? Think I read somewhere that providing a batsman has already hit the ball, (which he had) then he would be ok doing that. T...

Yep, Sam's double at Chelsea every time. Wardys goal wasn't a bad one either. Great result.
Didn't Gary Cahill get a red in that game? As said above, it helped, if that was the game,
but hey ho.

I was there yesterday. Managed to get front standing tickets, so really close. Re: A piece of the Turf
I remember in the mid to late Nineties the pitch was relaid and they flogged off the old turf for a couple of quid a square.
I bought a piece and planted in in my front garden, but some of my R*vers supporting mates swiped it and I never saw it again.
But no, never after a pitch invasion.

Must admit, I was pretty underwhelmed by the appointment of SP, but was quite prepared to give him every chance to show what he could do.
Pleased to say he's excelled in my view, hopefully he can go even further and keep us up.

I think it's pretty inevitable that the three that came up will go down, the step-up is so big these days.
If we're still playing in the PL in the season after this, it'll be a modern sporting miracle.
