Re: What do we need
It was a back 5. JBL's average position was actually further back than Sonne's vs Spurs. Notice the same CB positions for Esteve, Ekdal and Walker. Re: What do we need
It was one game. It still was a variation of a back 5 and even then there were a couple of times in the first half where they broke on us with JBL upfield so Walker went out to the right there was a huge hole which Ekdal should have automatically plugged but didn't, he held central. Better teams ex...

Dubravka - 7 - Solid. Walker - 8 - Legs haven’t gone. Pleased we played him RB, why have one of the best in the world in that position (once upon a time of course) and then not play him there. Ekdal - 8- Won everything Esteve - 7 - Solid as usual Hartman - 7 - Going to be a cult hero. Larsen - 6 - Q...

I’ll post later but a lot of people look as though they thought JBL played at RWB today. He played as a winger, we clearly started with a 4 and only a 5 the last 20 minutes.

Read the BBC article with the new ownership, they sounded committed and positive about the future of the club. All sounded good, until the mention of the appointment of a 30 year old manager with no previous managerial experience, then I got concerned.

Im a teacher and at school, a student wrote me a thank you card that said ‘Thanks for being so skibidi.’
When I asked what that meant and if it was a compliment, the response was ‘well it just means skibidi doesn’t it.’ I googled it, and it said it means ‘good, bad or weird.’ So I’m none the wiser.

For me a centre back is the only priority. Whether we play a back 4 or 5, someone to replace Ekdal who is big, wins headers win both boxes and aggressive. I thought Tuanzebe was that player but his lack of pre season minutes suggest otherwise. RB/RWB I think we are fine, Roberts can play there or, i...

Tod is a decent place for a day drinking session, as is Hebden for that matter. Not really arsed that it’s gentrified, beats Burnley which is on its arse.
Padiham is definitely on the up, as mentioned above, a couple of decent restaurants, tapas etc and it could be a great day drinking place!

Cajuste to me looks like a more technical Josh Laurent. Strong, big, likes a tackle and can drive with the ball. To me looks like a player who would slot into midfield alongside Cullen and complement him well. If this happens, a keeper and striker and we are there!

I don't disagree but think we need to remember it's possible that the interviewer sees these comments Good. Then the interviewers can reflect upon the average nature of their work. Might seem harsh, but you need a thick skin in this sort of role. If I performed averagely in my job I’d be pulled up.

Looking at the video of Diouf, he looks like a better Laurent, which is exactly what we need. Talk, powerful and can drive with the ball.
He also reminds me of a much more raw Mousa Dembele, in the way he uses his body but also has real technical ability.
Would be very exciting!

I would hope, and expect, there to be far more outgoings than incomings this summer. I would expect that: Outgoings Sambo Benson Redmond (gone) Shelvey (gone)...

As mentioned above 5-6 players who can actually improve the squad, a mixture of up and coming and some old heads. 1. A striker, that can hold the ball up, run the channels and get 7-10 PL goals. Think we definitely need one. Yes we’ve looked good the last two games, but we lack that traditional number 9 that can hold up the ball, bring others into play and contribute with 5-6 goals between now and the end of the season.
