RIP Bernard, knew him well from working on the turnstiles and my dad was good mates with him, he worked at Mullards at Simonstone in the 1970s.

The leak was reported a week ago, if they'd have acted sooner it wouldn't have got this bad. Water companies take our money but don't like spending when it comes to repairs.

Fair points Rowls bit the sale of physical newspapers has dwindled in the last 15 years or so. Without the online versions most newspapers would.go bankrupt.

The no mobile rule seems ridiculous to me. It's like they are trying to turn back time. Do they allow you to read a newspaper? What's the difference between reading a physical newspaper or one on your phone?

Agree with the cause they are highlighting but not the way they go about it disrupting ordinary people, getting more bad publicity than good. Why don't they target/ highlight the billionaires with their private jets?
