Re: ADHD / Neurodiversity
I said the term neuro diverse is a placebo that has no meaning in reality because the brain is plastic and highly adapted to individual circumstances. I don’t think I’ve ever had to debate anything on here because I prefer to share information and support people. But it is worth mentioning that som...

Re: ADHD / Neurodiversity
I tend to distil the whole ‘we’re all on a spectrum’ argument that has popped up slightly on this thread into the fact that it becomes irrelevant when you talk about life outcomes, rather than a piece of paper with a diagnosis on it. And if the diagnosis leads to better treatment and resultant life ...

Don’t forget to be kind to yourself. Progress is very rarely linear :) If the scales are being ruder than I would like, I try to remind myself that it’s not just about the number - it’s about getting healthier. For example, my cholesterol level has gone right down. It took a long time but it is gett...

Nice work everyone! Great to hear all the progress being made :) I’ve found that a cheeky bowl of All Bran (or similar, my grandad would be proud) and some fruit helps with the fibre / movements, as well as the water. I generally feel a bit dehydrated for a few days after jab day so lots of fluids a...

Re: Mounjaro
My only side effect was a low-grade hangover/ tiredness the day after. It was a bit irritating but I found that having the jab earlier in the day, and keeping hydrated, and making sure I had water when I was resting really helped manage the effects. Also making sure I didn’t have too much planned on...

I started to take it in January and have lost 50lbs in total in about 5 months, it has different impacts on different people - I didn’t really need / want to go above 5mg because I got a lot of fatigue from it, but nothing else weirdly. I work at an ‘AI startup’ so I’m familiar with these things, how’s it’s built, and I use AI in my job on top of building it. One of the things I am developing is how to convert what I’ve been developing into the world of agents (AI that does stuff rather than just tell you stuff). The stuff I build ...

Hi everyone I post on here from time to time (mostly stupid one liners), but I have a serious question to ask! Does anyone here wear a sunflower lanyard, or have experience of it? I had a really dodgy Wi-Fi connection at home, bought an eero and an extender a couple of weeks ago and sorted me out. No complaints from me. The set up was pretty easy, too. I’d be surprised if ‘AI’ isn’t being used in preparation for football matches already. And I’m sure it’s already being used in the business side, particularly retail and commercial, dynamic pricing for example. The last decade or so has seen the rise of data analytics in football. It’s only one step...

Which is funny because now Alex Turner is like a cheesy old crooner that Young Alex Turner would have written a scathing song about.
