Re: ADHD / Neurodiversity

I said the term neuro diverse is a placebo that has no meaning in reality because the brain is plastic and highly adapted to individual circumstances. I don’t think I’ve ever had to debate anything on here because I prefer to share information and support people. But it is worth mentioning that som...

Re: ADHD / Neurodiversity

I tend to distil the whole ‘we’re all on a spectrum’ argument that has popped up slightly on this thread into the fact that it becomes irrelevant when you talk about life outcomes, rather than a piece of paper with a diagnosis on it. And if the diagnosis leads to better treatment and resultant life ...

Don’t forget to be kind to yourself. Progress is very rarely linear :) If the scales are being ruder than I would like, I try to remind myself that it’s not just about the number - it’s about getting healthier. Nice work everyone! Great to hear all the progress being made :) I’ve found that a cheeky bowl of All Bran (or similar, my grandad would be proud) and some fruit helps with the fibre / movements, as well as the water. My only side effect was a low-grade hangover/ tiredness the day after. It was a bit irritating but I found that having the jab earlier in the day, and keeping hydrated, and making sure I had water when I was resting really helped manage the effects. Also making sure I didn’t have too much planned on...

I started to take it in January and have lost 50lbs in total in about 5 months, it has different impacts on different people - I didn’t really need / want to go above 5mg because I got a lot of fatigue from it, but nothing else weirdly.
