Re: Where to eat in Burnley ?
The Loom across from the sorting office was Zumuku Pan-Asian last time we ate there but seems to be have changed recently. The bar is really good, has live bands on Fridays and lots of Clarets on match day. Agree on the Ram Inn, after years of terrible food, the new people have turned it around - re...

It's got to be a huge improvement on the eyesore we have had to put up with for years. The Calico office building directly opposite is a dark brown brick structure and maybe that's influenced the colour of the cladding. Yeah can see it being full on matchdays hopefully more PL seasons. Just hope to...

Other than the Newcastle away, with the paths/road under the stand which is heavily policed, struggling to think of a tight, full exit like Omerod Yard where away fans and home fams walk together. I would hope the FAB and various groups representing fans would suggest a date, before the season starts, for those affected to visit the CFS to see their new seat and how it relates to the people they have been seated with for the past 10 years. Like many others we helicoptered through it. The pilot was a native, his passion for not only the geology but connection to his people was the best bit. My wife and I also kayaked the down Colorada river and visted the emerald cave, which gave us another perspective of the area. I'm a keen hiker but...

I remember in the mid to late Nineties the pitch was relaid and they flogged off the old turf for a couple of quid a square.
