Clitheroe 5 - 1 Colne
Clitheroe had 6 players out with Covid, but managed to perform on the big day! We expected a crowd of around 1000, but managed 1678 in the end! Hopefully everyone enjoyed their day! Thanks to any one that attended from the Clarets!

We've just got two tickets. It's advisable to get tickets if you're intending going as they may have to restrict numbers and a ticket will guarantee entry. https://www.tickettailor.com/events/clitheroefootballclub/627542 Good shout! Think this is to also help congestion getting in before the game a...

I'm planning on going. I'm sure the Red Army will be there in good numbers! I didn't know Sefton Gonzalez was at Clitheroe, him up against Ryan Taylor should be a good battle. Yes, I’m sure the Red Army will be there in force, there will be some good chants between both sets of fans on the day no d...

Merry Christmas fellow Clarets! Sad to see another game postponed, but hopefully it won’t affect Dyche & the lads to much! Just a heads up if anyone is after watching a bit of live football over the festive period. Clitheroe play Colne on Monday at Shawbridge, which has got the hallmarks of an aweso...

Fulham offering nothing since the goal. Come on Burnley, we can win this.
They’re s**t, still fuming they cancelled our game previously. Of course they picked up a win last match, so hope we beat them so badly.

I have fallen out of love with the EPL, but not with football. I would highly recommend doing what I’ve done and start watching a non league team. I live in Clitheroe and got a season ticket for £50, we’ve been allowed 400 fans on per game until this last lockdown. Should continue again on 2nd DEC. ...

I just don’t think the club are going to spend any money at all.
I know a few contractors who have done work at the Turf and are struggling to get paid by the club.
Possibly due to the takeover.

the science was right, we could have contained this virus effectively, but the vapid public continually ignore the advice and do whatever they please. its genuinely put me right off British people. by and large they are thick and uncaring. Not sure I understand his potential move apart from the fact it would be for more money. His profile raised again last year playing for Burnley. He got his England call up previously and screwed it up, take Tarks out of the Burnley back line and I think he won’t be the same player. We’re a top 10 cl...

Decisions made by this government have been absolutely atrocious, a catalogue of glaring errors one after the other. We still have Brexit left to get through yet. People continue to defend them, as there is no credible opposition. No-one deserves the benefit of doubt when leading a country, the peop...

Got the feeders just when lockdown started, took a while for the birds to realise, but had around 23 species so far. Couldn’t believe it when a Great Spotted Woodpecker was on them, male and female both use them every other day. https://i.ibb.co/swg6tGk/741-CF63-C-9-C05-400-D-ACF9-2087-FCC93674.jpg ...

If there was ever a case for the average person in Britain being a co.plete moron (and a selfish one at that) this is it. Typical Tories clinging on to something that is no longer even an issue. It’s another desperate smear and everyone’s desperate to cling on to it. I see the BBC had a similar article about Boris being proven as Islamophobic at the same time, but of course this was way down the front page, of course. ...

I’m not deflecting anything. Just pointing out that all political parties are full of shite. If you honestly think that a Labour government would magically turn around the NHS then you are just kidding yourself. No, but it might give it the best chance. The direction Labour want to go with it is fa...

I worked in the NHS as we switched from a Lab Gov to a Conservative Govt. There was a lot of **** taking going on (one ward had all its staff nurses off at the same time) so it needed tightening up. But within two years, my department was down to the barest minimum, with essentially no cover for ho...

Would any one agree our loss could be down to the lack of ‘homework’ on our opposition? Maybe we need to look more specifically at who we are playing and what tactics they deploy. Either way though, they are a high tempo team with clever tactics, will cause some teams problems this season. I wouldn’...

Quite simply a change of diet will vastly improve gut problems. Switching to more of plant based diet changes the types of bacteria within the gut and I can totally say it makes a vast improvement. Regular, no bloating, no heart burn etc, nor grogginess. Not saying give up meat, cut down a bit and e...
