Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Loan with an obligation to buy isn’t that stupid an idea to be honest. We’d have to pay slightly above market value as Plymouth would need to take out a loan against the future income. So we’d have to buy the player and cover loan costs. We get to defer payment for 12 months, Plymouth still get thei...

Just remember the manager could well be in situ behind the scenes overseeing pre-season and transfer activity. Just because its not been announced to uptheclarets doesn't mean Pace and the board are running around clueless with no plan in place.

Good point. In my opinion there is not really a big difference between 7-20..... each year there is usually one team that just destined for relegation, but it is cutthroat for the other spots. Forest got promoted last season on mainly loans hence their massive rebuild this summer.......
And Kompany has proven he can rebuild a squad if those on loan cannot be made permanent.
I'm happy with the loans especially the added quality they bring which we couldn't otherwise afford.

Roberts will be great under Kompany as the fullbacks provide the width - we should see him played to his strengths and is a must keep.
