On the latest training video the club have posted, you can see Beyer briefly right at the end running and gesturing to have the ball passed to him, with nary a limp in sight. https://x.com/BurnleyOfficial/status/1940081123331383598 It looks more like he’s pointing towards his knee to tell the physi...

Ridiculous fee. I can’t help thinking that the Dortmund fans will be bitterly disappointed after the success of his brother.
Having said that he’s only a teenager and played well in both of the games vs the clarets this season, absolutely nullified Josh brownhill.

Just nipped on the board to see if there’s any transfer rumours. Nice to see it’s as toxic as ever

is there still a thread for links only?

Absolute diamond of a bloke. I knew him from playing over at Haslingden st Mary’s. Used to love chatting to him after the games about all things Burnley and Mary’s. Bumped into him for a few pints over the years on Burnley away games too.
I’ll miss our chats. He’ll be sadly missed by many.

He was a bit of a donkey, but he was the best donkey we’ve ever had. His goal to games ratio for us when you look back at it now is ridiculous considering he was playing for a team who played up to 80% of the game without possession of the ball.

The way them shirts seem to rip so easily I wouldn’t bother.
They are like tracing paper. You could read a book through them. Could come in handy for a wet Tshirt competition but nobody wants to see me in one of those.

The Animals- ‘house of the rising sun’ must go down as one of the greatest ever covers. Not the greatest but one of the most accurate covers when compared to the original may be Sleeper’s cover of Atomic by Blondie. Someone told me they wanted the original on the soundtrack of trainspotting but coul...

Laurent is key to our midfield - take him out and the physicality is all but gone. A real John Deary player - don't necessarily notice him week in week out, but take him out of the side and you soon realise he isn't there. Hannibal, Cullen and Brownhill doesn't fill me with any confidence at all - ...

Why is Brownhill disliked by our fans so much? Most teams in this league would jump at the chance of having him in their squad yet our fanbase seemingly would be happy if his contract expiry date was brought forward to tomorrow. I don’t think it’s a case of disliking him tbh. I think all fans will ...

Yep just checked Adebayo has missed 24 big chances this season.
The next highest is latte lath with 14 haha.
He will really improve our goal scoring 🫣
That means he’s had 24 shots! A step in the right direction from where we are now.

I’m sure Redmond had a game in u23s before making the bench. Delcroix and Ekdal haven’t been on the bench for last two games so it must be one of them What has happened to Redmond? We seemed to be well informed on his progress when returning from injury, he appeared on the bench for a game or two t...

Feel it’s very rare a swap deal ever happens but doubt we’d be that keen on swapping a 25 year old for a 29 year old with likely very limited resale value. If we were to be interested in that, feel Mikautadze is more likely at 24. That might work as he’s also out of favour by all accounts. Regardle...

I can’t understand the disappointment and even disbelief that we’re selling Odobert. Our board have made no secret about their business plan to invest in young talent, give them a platform to play/develop and then sell them on for a profit. It’s a very quick turnaround and fast profit for odobert an...

I tried watching it last weekend too. It’s basically a glorified pub conversation between a group of 4 people from the south east who support big 6 teams and have only football manager and fifa ultimate team to provide them with knowledge. At worst Sky should have brought in a couple of ex professi...

I think we can all agree that soccer am was nowhere near what it used to be and the format was a bit tired and in need of a revamp but at its worst it was still far better than this new programme. Granted I may not be its target audience as I’m probably too old and too miserable. Although I found Bu...

Doesn’t get too much praise due to not getting the goals and assists but anyone who’s played football can appreciate how difficult his job is and how easy he makes it look.
My player of the season so far hands down.

He’s called Rodyse Munienge. Part of the impressive back room staff. That’s him. Vincent’s PA/bodyguard/oldest friend. Anyone who can wear shorts, T-shirt and a gilet for the game at home vs Middlesbrough must be worth their salt as a body guard. I was one Benny and hot away from freezing to death ...

I think the Championship prices are crazy. Coventrys valuation of Gyokeres being another example. When you look at how many goals Armstrong scored in the championship you realise how easy it would be to spend big on a complete duff! Eze, Olise, Benrahma, etc - have hardly set the world alight eithe...

From Sky Sports re. Semenyo ‘Burnley have inquired about signing Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo. Bournemouth have also watched the 23-year-old but are not thought to be strongly interested at this stage. Bristol City value him in the region £12m – even though he is technically out of contract...
