Re: Spuds v Super Clarets Match Thread
I agree, compare today’s starting eleven compared to last times. Last time we started with this team: Trafford Al Dakhil, Beyer, O’Shea, Roberts Vitinho, Berge, Cullen, Koleosho Amdouni, Foster That team was so unbalanced and physically weak. This team is more experienced, bigger physically and set...

I know he has his detractors (personally love him) but I wouldn't swap 100 Fernandes Captains for one Roy Keane. They are like different species

Red Bull, absolute shite. Not judging but lost count of the number of overweight people I see buying this to give them energy. This ramps blood sugar to ridiculous levels and then causes a huge crash in blood sugar, which guess what, feels like no energy and the cycle repeats itself. Its this drink ...

And I'd like to nominate Elton John's ' Your Song' covered by Billy Paul. Absolutely magnificent rendition of an already classic track. He managed to take an already superb song and elevate into another genre completely. Robert Palmers cover of I didn't mean to turn you on is fantastic too . He was...

I said it when we got Edwards (he is borderline world class when fit and on his game) in no world should Foster be selected over him. Obviously Edwards hasn't played much for two months , but as soon as he can do 90mins he has to. Not on Parker for me this one. Any half decent championship striker b...

Trust me , this guy at his best is better than Townsend, and I am a Townsend fan. I couldn't believe it when Spurs let him go in the first place, I just hope there isn't something wrong re his headspace and that's why he's here. Although apparently according to others he is here because of Parker so...

Thrilled to bits with this signing. I have followed him for years and when he was at youth level I had him down for the future of Englands centre midfield. At his best his close control and vision are borderline world class. Obviously there is something amiss or he wouldn't be coming here so I am ju...

Esteve as usual was superb, love the look of Fleming. Humphreys had a good game and a bit unfortunate for me. Ironically at 0-2 down ,I think we have done ok.
Very impressed with Foster, fast and strong, definitely looks a premier league player.
For me , we are a man down in midfield, and as such I am with holding judgement on Berge, but I really dont think we have been that bad and 2-0 flatters Villa
