Sometimes angles can make a difference, but surely VAR is now there, or is it just that the game is now becoming basketball, aka a non-contact sport?

GD is always important & might come into play. As long as we don't get a drubbing & keep it to 1/2 goals difference then it can be deemed a success.

Been mentioned a few times about SP on camera as the board went up. I'm not so sure. I think he was surprised there were only 6 mins following the slow substitutions by Cardiff, how many players they made, as well as our subs.

Cups should never be a distraction, and this one isn't either. Anyone remember our cup run under Coyle? They lift the fans, create excitement, breed a winning mentality, get some more cash in the coffers. It should be taken seriously and give our first team players playing time with each other. Ther...

The whole 'legs in the minutes excuse' is so much nonsense I can't believe people fall for it. In about a week's time, they'll be back to where they were at the start of this week and then needing 'NEW minutes in the legs' to get up to speed coz they'll only have trained. That was clearly an apathet...

Did the Anthony role on the other side of the pitch. Explain what threat he had or any decent positions he got in? Can't think of one threatening move with him involved. Not a criticism, just not his day.

There is a fundamental reason why this is a bad idea - if a club is finishing that low down in the table they will almost uncertainly be ill-equipped for the Prem from a squad perspective and worse - potentially not ready for it from an infrastructure basis. Don't see how this solves anything reall...

I think there are ways to make league position count without needing to extend to six teams though. I wouldn’t be against the play-off semi-finals both being a single game with the team that finished higher at home. You could even give the home team a further advantage by saying that if scores were...

Why is that, may I ask? The 2nd-tiered club very rarely wins, meaning only the 2 automatic go up. Personally, I prefer more teams getting a crack in the top league.
