Left Burnley for London age 15/16. Back up north after a few years to Southport then Ormskirk.

He opened the batting for Burscough CC. Won the FA Trophy with Burscough as goalkeeper. Converted to centre back and did well in the lower leagues. Now doing ok at Rotherham. One to watch.
