Anyone think Beyer when fit would actually be a better option next to Berge then brownhill?
Beyer has the ability to get past people, can play balls through the lines, can win headers and reads the game well
Oh I so do agree!!!
And possibly fall back at times and build a three backline.

Solid defending but we were missing the direction of Beyer.
Disruptive runs and consistency from the back is what complements our attacking efforts and keeps opposition at bay in the last 20 minutes when leading. Hope boss Beckenbeyer is on board again soon. Beyer/Ekdal our new backbone force. UTC

Ekdal was a great signing and Charly was superb today.
But Beyer is absolute class and one of its kind. If this news is true I will celebrate for a week or longer. Beyer would write history with us. Ekdal alongside him would profit from Beyer‘s leadership, too.

Did my research because I wanted to know. He was injured only three times in five years. All of these not for too long. Plus two COVID cases. I would never call that a risk. Most players are injured far more often.
