Apologies, Andrew Leeson not Lawson. Unused sub Notts Forest (A) 21st April 2003. Mark Rasmussen got on the pitch that day.

Re: Name the most obscure Burnley player
Paul Graham, Andrew Lawson. Unused subs during the latter days of Stan’s tenure. Going further back (to my youth) Billy Wright - late 70’s /very early 80’s. Unused sub again, I think. Contemporary of Mark Allen. Mid 80(s) Tony Chilton, left back from the north east. Played once under John Benson. Th...

Sheffield United tickets - Purchase History
The club's ticket website says that Sheff U td tickets are currrently on sale to those with a purchase history. Is there a required level of loyalty points? If so, is this published anywhere? I have a purchase history but the site states that I'm unable to purchase "yet" as (quote) " you don't have ...

Vincent would have learnt a fair bit from last night, not least that Cork can’t do three full games in six days.

Some harsh marks on Churlinov. Looks promising, yes he should have scored but he should also have had a penalty after some decent play. He adds something a little different, bit more of a physical presence as are a bit much of a muchness when it comes to physicality.

Yeah, said some fatigue amongst the players.
Learning exercise I think, he should have rested Cork tonight and perhaps one or two others.

Ash Barnes was injured for most of last season and couldn't be expected to score I don't get the antipathy towards him He's not been injured this season...and hasn't scored. I just think he belongs to an era now past, doesn't feel a fit at all. In addition he's not exactly the most "constructive" p...

The video is the only things I can comment on because I know nothing about the player. I think theres only Scott Twine who I'd heard of out all the signing so far. Everyone else sound like re-gens from Football Manager. I have no opinion of them. I'd seen the names Muric and Cullen before, not didn...

Whilst some cover at centre-half and maybe a forward would be nice, with 14 players already signed this summer then today doesn't quite have the same feel as previous years, when we'd managed some old lad from Stoke (or Dale Stephens) with the hours ticking down.

“Negotiations were minimal”. Justifiably. Yes, I know he scored goals in the Championship, seven years ago or whatever. No guarantee. Never even looked remotely like a regular PL goalscorer. Unfortunately another signing we got little value from. Flattered to deceive ? Absolutely.

Yeah has a role to play as a bit part player in what will very much be more of a squad approach this season. Give your head a serious wobble if you think he’s a regular starter. We need a couple of young forwards, can only assume that’s where attention is turning next if there’s still 4-5 players to...
