Agreed. There seems to be a numbers of posters obsessed that we need to play a ‘10’. There are other teams that play 3 in midfield without a ‘10’.

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
If we were linked with Mikautadze, you’ve got to think that we’re in for another forward….
Centre half, midfielder (hopefully Luis) and another forward/number 10 required - 3 players. All need to be better than we currently have. No need for squad fillers - we’ve got a big enough squad already!

If we sign Luis, I think Hannibal will be the one for the chop from our starting 11. I love how he gets opponents backs up and that will come in useful over the season, but I expect we'll play Ugochuckwu further forward with Cullen and Luiz sitting. As I’ve cited on another thread, they can all pla...

Why can’t all 3 of them play together? Look at Newcastle, for example. Their midfield 3 are considered ‘number 8’ but they all play in the same team.
Also could play a 5-3-2 with Anthony taking the RWB role.

Very important psychologically to be outside of the bottom three after spending ALL season there last time. And being mid table having shown we can win at this level (albeit v a promoted team) should help to encourage new signings this week. Fingers crossed we can bring the 2-3 quality players in th...

The food offering is quite appalling - especially when you compare it to other clubs. Why they can’t offer something as simple chips/french fries and big pizza slices, for example, is ridiculous. The awkward 12pm-2pm kick off slots (of which there’ll be many this season) are surely the times when mo...

Will be interesting to see how he does. Hopefully he gets a lot f game time and someone can coach some sort of improvement.
No doubt he will get better each passing week with some on here during his time away when we’ll undoubtedly be struggling but personally I don’t think we’ll miss him at all.

Genuine question: how long does Parker get if we go on a significant winless run? Re: Burnley v Wolves - U21 Game
Our lads were struggling as a team to keep the ball when playing out from the back. Probably a mixture of a lack of being drilled to where they should be and a lack of fitness. They couldn’t keep the ball after they equalised and the result was they couldn’t get out of their own third retaining poss...

Yes. I'd also be tempted with Foster and Broja up top. We need to score goals and occupy defenders. Yes, agreed…. Said this to my dad earlier. When Dyche played 442 he said he liked to play two up front because it’s unusual for defenders to have to play up against two forwards and it changed the fe...

For large parts today the team didn’t look well enough drilled in this shape and some layers looked a little lost and confused as to where they needed to be. Too many weren’t involved enough and completely ineffective. Hopefully a back four next week.

Where are you getting those figures for Broja from?
The only figure that’s been out there up until now is ‘£20m deal’. I appreciate that’s the overall package but haven’t seen anything on social media quoting the £10m or £15m mentioned above.

Not sure about that. I’d say we are much stronger defensively now which is the basic foundation on which any form of successful season (for us) would be built on. I still think we could do with more creativity/pace. Edwards and Anthony are quick but not lightening fast. A Tella or Doak from Liverpool type signing would fill this void.
