Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.

Been watching some Youtube reels of Florentino. He seems very good at intercepting, but like the brilliant challenge from Walker, a lot of players dropped like a hotpot - meaning even when he does completely legal and perfectly fine challenges and wins the ball, if we're against a top 6 side or one...

I must've been watching a different player.

At PL level I thought he was garbage and I don't think we miss him in the slightest.
You obviously was watching a different player and everyone was “garbage” in that PL season.

Not as clear cut. Not in possession of the ball. No football fan should want penalties for that.
Anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul.Maybe we should instruct our defenders to barge people in the back off the ball because apparently it’s not a foul if they’re nowhere near the ball.

Keep reading page after page about Leeds and Sunderland, I’d rather read about who we’re signing to replace 2 of our better players last season. At the minute we’ve got no chance.
In your opinion who should we sign that would give us a chance?

We got a ridiculous amount for Wood. I think it was around £27 million. Okay he came good at Nottingham Forest but Newcastle sold him at a tremendous loss.
It wasn’t the fee we recieved for Wood that was the problem it was more the fact of how much it weakened us as a relegation rival.
