Just caught up on MOTD. The Foster goal was a soft decision IMO - but as someone mentions above, all it needs is for the defender to hit the deck and it's a free-kick.

John Brooks on VAR - he gave the handball for Leeds on Monday night. Would suggest he's not had the best start to the season on VAR!

Do miss the old season ticket books with the number displayed on the turnstile though!

Have to say I found it very poor that they made no reference to the three departed players. All three played such a huge part in what we achieved last season and should have been recognised with at least a line in the club's story.

I think Brownhill's agent is a Burnley fan isn't he? (Phil Ercolano). I've no problem with him playing the field, and I think he'll end up abroad (probably MLS) where he'll get a nice payday and be one of the league's top players. I'm not sure that's the career move I'd have chosen at 29 having come...

It's all a bit strange to me - as a Burnley fan of 35 years, I struggle to understand being that passionate about another club, let alone one I've only started supporting five minutes ago.

I think that’s the best point to be made CT - past records really so count for very little for the vast majority of players. How many times have we seen people light up a season, get a big move and then never hit those heights again? Likewise a player who has bounced around clubs, never done much an...
