Re: Name the most obscure Burnley player
Chappy was just coming back from glandular fever too when he got that debut as a sub at Norwich in 2003. I thought Joel was forced to pull out through illness. Groin strain in the warm up. I was at Wigan at the time but this is the info I had form my old teammates. Still in touch with both Chappy a...

Debuted under Stan and played one more for Cotterill - both as a sub. And as mentioned above, first name Joel. He was due to be on the bench before Chaplow got his debut. He pulled up injured in the warm up allowing Chappy to get his chance ( only yts in the boot room who had his bag of kit with hi...

How old is he? 16 years old is the age restriction but having been a few times I don’t recall anyone ever asking, and a 16 year old wouldn’t have ID anyway. I’d say he would have to be able to pass for 16 maybe? Managed to get 2 in the north stand I think it is now. Paid a bit more but looking forw...

Something similar. I might have dreamt it but I’m sure I saw some plans in a picture for it. Can’t recall where I saw it now. I agree, and to a large extent I hope he does. But like I said I think there are only 3 wingers who featured prominently last season so we have now supplemented them with Tchaouna and JBL which would seem a reasonable number. Obviously it leaves players who were already surplus to requirements in t...

I keep hearing this argument about him being better equipped for the PL than the Championship, and I just don't buy it. I agree we are heavy on wingers, but I could only name 5 who will realistically feature much, and I don’t think that’s excessive as we will likely use 4 wingers in most games. Obviously there are players who we need to move one, but that’s not a reason to not sign better players. As for losing the ...

Foster is a confidence player. Clearly troubled with mental health issues. There’s a player inside there. He’s got all the attributes. I really think he’s good at coming deep and driving at opposing teams. It’s all how parker wants to play next season. We’ve got some very good options

Is it really though? I can only think of Edwards, Anthony, Koleosho, Tchaouna and JBL who are likely to be heavily involved in the wide forward areas - and I’d imagine 4 out of the 5 will feature in most games. We seem a little heavy on wingers. Edwards and Anthony don’t deserve to lose their shirt...

Sergent is absolutely ideal for us. I’ve been saying for ages now. He has a bit of everything about him. Him and Ashley Barnes are very close too. Hope he can persuade him to come (even if it means less game time for Bashley)
