I cannot believe we’re having this conversation five days after our last signing! Are we expecting a new arrival every 1-2 days else assuming the club are distracted?

I'm expecting far more news on departures than arrivals to be honest.

Re: Allardyces Bolton

Would be interesting to hear whether Bolton fans would have swapped being an average yo-yo club with having those highs and then the subsequent downfall. Gretna were probably the best example of what happens when your owner gives massive levels of funding and that is suddenly cut off. Living close ...

What I meant to say was that recruitment is probably more likely to be involved with loans/transfers to/from Espanyol than on a jolly with the boys on the Algarve.

Every club has well informed fans keen to tell you how huge debts are actually great and won’t ever be a problem. Bolton did, Leeds, Blackburn.. Man Utd (well actually to be fair, they did see a problem coming). Not like us though, our vast debt really is practical and manageable. It’s actually a g...

Amdouni out for a while.
Agyei likewise?

Massengo gone

One player we haven’t considered is Adewumi. I know he is U21s but spent the season very successfully at Dundee. Will he go out on loan again or will he get a slot?

Anything concrete yet on this? I hope it doesn’t become another mystery cloaked in an enigma.

Don’t think we need to know the ins and outs just whether he is injured and whether it’s short, medium or long term prognosis.

If he is injured, good luck to the lad on his recovery.

Two of the biggest concerns coming into the PL was whether we’d be able to significantly upgrade the centre of midfield and strike force.

We’ve touched neither so far.

Surely something has got to happen in those departments soon (and also outgoings!)
