Gawthorpe Hall - worth a look?

Never been to the Hall itself but down in the area next week. We are members of Nat Trust so thought might have a look.

26 seasons of pain

Is it a curse. Did we accidentally kill their cat or something? I mean we get beaten by other “big sides” but we also have good days against them, but with City it is just a ridiculous repetition. I only went back 26 years and couldn’t bear to go any further. Why under a succession of different mana...

Not great.

Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts. I was better after I had cried, than before--more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle. We need never be ashamed of our tears.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs Cardiff City - MATCH THREAD (Carabao Cup)

Only watched on the tv. First half was lacklustre. Looked like Cardiff came with brightness and invention and a game plan which was executed with enthusiasm. We didn’t have the cohesion to match it and impose our game. 2nd hal, we looked like we had (hopefully) taken a bollocking and looked more at ...

One thing struck me is that Tresor looked a lot fitter than in his previous cameos.

Maybe the lad is getting somewhere near full fitness - fingers crossed.

Just had a look myself and was going to ask the question. I don’t think it’s showing up on any of the red button games. I would imagine it is on somewhere but can’t see it yet.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs Nottingham Forest - MATCH THREAD

So from someone that was not a Parker fan initially and had massive trepidations about his set up in the Prem, I have got to say we look reasonably comfortable and also showing some great football at times. Anthony looks every inch a top class player. Florentino is a Rolls Royce. Tchaouna (sp) has m...

I’ll just reiterate what I have said all along. A fully fit and motivated Mike Tresor would be incredible. You can see from his very brief cameos the level of ability he has. However until someone factually says what is happening here in terms of where he is at physically/mentally and emotionally th...

Not a link as such but would a move like this be what is needed for Ramsey to get him up and running and in the thick of it? Maybe even till January (not sure if that is still a thing?)
