Half time now. 1-1. We haven't threatened since we equalised and Liverpool have been well on top. They have picked up 3 yellow cards too, but of course according to the Liverpool supporter near me, none of them have been justified.

When we signed Devine he was actually a part time player with Rovers and he worked as an engineer at Blackburn Town Hall whilst on a dual registration with Chorley. He agreed to join us in April 1984 but had to give a month's notice at his job. I think he actually made his debut for us against Rover...

Lucky to be level at half time, but the 2nd half was different gravy. We'll not meet many worse teams than Sunderland but great to get those first 3 points. Thought Ekdal was superb today & the new lad Tchouma looks a real prospect.

My season ticket card was delivered this afternoon, having been sent from a third party marketing company on The Wirral. As the postman handed it to me he said 'apparently this is a season ticket, there have been a lot delivered to the wrong address.'
