I'm not watching the game but you can be given out LBW if the ball hits your arm, providing of course that all the other LBW criteria are met. If it hits the hand then it can't be given.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 8:17 pmNotts 10/3 off 2 overs but the third wicket is a shocking decision. Given out lbw when the ball hit his arm.

We won this game 1-0 on a snow covered Bloomfield Road pitch. Our goal was scored 20 minutes from time by Kenny Saunders; Kenny was a 17 year old trialist from Liverpool who wasn't offered a contract. He still works in football as a junior coach on Merseyside.

I can't see them risking Atkinson though I think Archer will play instead of Tongue. Don't think we need a specialist spin bowler at Lord's but Bashir seems to be Stokes' pet project so he'll probably play despite doing next to nothing to justify his continued selection. Northants won by 24 runs at Old Trafford today. They scored a reasonable 180 and Lancs were never in the hunt with some pretty average batting. Sir Jimmy took 3 for 31 but the best bowler on show was Northants' Scrimshaw who is rapid.
