Re: How long left for ALK?

2020 takeover was £170m for 84%, valued club at £202m. Financed largely by banks plus bfc's own cash. Since then think owners have increased the 84% to maybe 90% plus. So question is how much would a new buyer need to offer to get a deal, and how much would be 'profit' to ALK after banks and bfc rep...

The key bit is that the £65 million is part of the £115 million. ALK had to pay the previous directors £X million. They borrowed (in stages) £115 million from the club. The club borrowed £65 million from MSD (and replaced by new loans) so that the club could make up the £115 million it was lending ...

Perhaps one day the PL will be expanded a bit from 20 up by letting others apply to enter. And the divisions a bit like the nfl with play-offs and a superbowl type PL final, keeps more clubs in contention for longer and no relegation. Could go to say 36 teams which I think the nfl number.

The takeover valued the club at £202m - there was £65m borrowed from MSD and in this equation we have to ignore what was borrowed from the club.
