Leeds Away Pubs

Where’s everyone heading on Saturday before the game? I don’t think there’s any dedicated away pubs, but quite a few decent bars around the station area.

Re: A Note for the cricket field….

To be honest you are right. I sit in NU5 and there are a group of around 7 that sing and try to join in with a pocket to our right. But having sat in all stands, there is something to be said on the acoustics of the long side and bee hole end, as up intil their goal the Longside and Jimmy Mc was ro...

Re: A Note for the cricket field….

It would probably help if the rest of the ground created an atmosphere instead of relying on the CFS

Of our 9 goals so far this season, how many have been scored by strikers?
5 out of those 9 goals have been scored by players who have left the club (including Vitinho)

I'll give you three and you can work the rest out yourself Bigger club More pulling power Bigger wage structure Bigger club, yes I’ll give you that. More pulling power? They’ve signed no one significant and let most of their assets leave, so I wouldn’t agree with that. Wage structure would be very ...

Are these tickets now sold out? There’s been no communication by the club as to whether it is, or if more tickets are going on sale

My guess is the fee be closer to 20m rather than 30m
What makes you think this? Surely it’s a big fee as we bought him for £12m ish? 4 years left on his contract as well

It surely has to be Beyer and Ekdal in our starting defence. I still can't believe people favouring O'Shea above these two.

Kudus running at our defence scares the hell out of me.

I was amazed when West Ham got him. He should have ended up at a better club
Completely agree although I have seen that there's a high chance he's going to miss the game, along with Bowen and Antonio due to injury

Absolutely huge game this weekend, with a few of their players out injured we simply can’t lose this. What is your starting XI?

Muric HAS to start against palace, we instantly looked more comfortable when he was playing. We need to introduce more players that we’re playing last season.

Re: Let’s make Turf Moor a fortress again…

I can see the logic in having the CFS for home fans only but I'm not so sure it'll help as much as some think. Having away fans in there close to the Burnley fans is often a big part of the atmosphere. I agree the interaction between home and away fans in the same stand should make for a cracking a...

Re: Let’s make Turf Moor a fortress again…

As much as we’d all like that, as things are now, that will never happen. The current set up keeps the away supporters “contained” and is easy to keep separate from the home support Moving them to the JML, would mean a mix of fans using the entrances to the upper & lower tiers, with the away fans i...

Get the CFS full of home fans and put the away fans in the JML. Having the cricket field a full home stand would make quite a racket.

Re: Drummers required...DRUMMERS

Totally against the idea of a drum, but I can see why they’ve focused on improving the home atmosphere. It’s absolutely awful and has been for a while. Apart from the cricket field stand and some of the longside, the ground is silent. The team needs us to back them at home and currently it’s just no...
