Cat 1 status was always provisional - in much the same way as a driving licence is usually the starting point for a progression to a full licence - it was a starting point for a journey to Cat 1 that hasn’t for whatever reason been completed. We were never awarded full Cat 1 status - the incentive w...

If you want gold or yellow trim then you need to look at 95/96 ? That one had gold/more of a deep yellow trim.Roosterbooster wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 2:02 pmI think this could look quite nice with some gold trim. It'd have to be umbro diamond rather than a mitre obviously, but I reckon that would work

Don’t forget my friends, we (Burnley Civic Trust) hold hundreds of thousands of negatives from the Burnley Express editions, 1960’s to 90’s. No thanks! You know I wasn’t a fan of this years kit, still not ‘my thing’ but it’s been a bloody success and I understand exactly why. We are, for once, (echoing one of spirals points here) ‘the cool club’ - and I therefore think any design should be one that’s gonna get eyeballs on it and purchas...

The 'Argentina' kit was about 1995 I think. The Adidas away kits from that era were good - the yellow/claret one in the Waddle season too The true Argentina style kit was worn at home against Stoke in 2007-2008 .. for the 125 anniversary The white adidas kit with sky fading stripes was worn in 1996...
