I was in Lippstadt in the late 90’s, other side of Churchill at 22 Sigs. Went back a few years ago, town is a shadow of it’s former self. Very sad to see.

Had some good mates in 22 when we were there (mid-80s) used to spend some very long nights in the squadron bars…

I knew Johnny back in the 90s, he lived on Nairne St if I recall. Sound lad and an absolute storytelling master. Had his issues as you say but a top bloke Haven't seen him in years unfortunately though We knew him as Frik - loved a frikadelle off of the food truck that came onto camp. Top lad indeed!
