Agreed. Having a look doesn't mean hes going to play him- it means just that, seeing if he thinks he's a suitable backup/starter (unlikely he's a starter for them) and if not, whether they want to cash in now or extend his contract and loan again to see if he progresses further. It is indeed the PL who are at fault ..
If they are going to have ground grading standards they should do as the SPL have done in the past and refuse entry to anyone who doesn’t meet the deadline / arrange a suitable groundshare or what is the point in having minimum standards ?

I was precise in my use of the term 'of sorts.' You can be suffering from a hamstring tweak and pass a medical. You can have broken bones and pass a medical. Medicals check for things like long term illness, heart health, flexibility, ascertaining injury history (I believe). It's a required formali...

Well I like it - a combination as worn in a couple of 66/7 Fairs Cup ties and some late sixties away games . I didn’t like last season’s kit one bit or the Ribero original for that matter. At the end of the day we all have different tastes and it will be consigned to the bargain rack next summer .

These were my thoughts too. You don't get to a medical until the agreement is in place between the clubs, so surely it's not that, and I heard somewhere that while it's not impossible to fail a medical, it's highly unlikely, even for players who have suffered serious injuries like ACLs; it's more o...
