Re: Bucharest Clarets….

Been to Bucharest many times with work and to visit my wife's family. giveusaB has the right advice, Bar Mojo in the Old Town area of the city, been there many times to watch Burnley games and very friendly staff and decent prices. If Bar Mojo doesn't have the game, it would still be good to head t...

Re: Bucharest Clarets….

Just asked Son in law who lives there. This is what he suggests : Just had a look and it’s not on Digi so they might be out of luck. However, if they go to the Halftime Pub or Mojo (they’re next door to each other) and ask the bar staff they might be able to get it. That’s also in the old town so th...

For those not traveling to Spurs …

Unfortunately can’t make the Spurs trip, so where do people recommend watching the game in and around town? Ideally with some decent quality food, & a good atmosphere 🍔 👏

Thought they may open fans zone, but haven’t seen anything as yet..?

Re: Spotted - SQF

Apologies for the slow response to this query. I am indeed the owner of the red Ford Fiesta parked on the High Street in South Queensferry, and notable for having a 'My Turf, My Town' sticker (plus an old Holland's Pies era mini-kit, when it sticks properly) in the back window. And, yes, as my mate...

Spotted - SQF

Tried to search for a “spotted” thread but can’t see one so apologies if there is one.

Spotted a clarets car in South Queensferry, wondered if they were on here?

Re: Jobs, careers, vocation, occupation

Had the option of going to uni to follow the dream of being a PE teacher or progressing from bar man to bar manager at a summer job, sadly the short term money drew me in I'm still in the hospitality game 20 years later..... :|

Away Coaches for coming season...

Hi

Normally we'd drive or get the train to away games, but looking at other options for this season as trains become more unreliable and we only drive as last resort

How would I go about getting on one of the supports coaches groups?

Does anybody know of places with any of them?

We’re going to get the train from Genk back to Brussels. Should make the 21:07 train back and be back in Brussels for 10:30ish.
Isn’t it a 19:30 KO?

How are you getting back to Genk for 21:07?

Re: Brussels after the Genk game…

Rome2Rio suggests train to Brussels and then train to Charleroi (approx£20) https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Genk/Charleroi Should have mentioned…. The public holiday status means most trains stop before the game finishes. Your suggestion works but we’d not get to Genk until after the last train depart...

Brussels after the Genk game…

Is anybody heading into Brussels after the game, we were very “clever” and booked a hotel in Charleroi for easy access to the airport for Sunday morning, but I’m coming up blanks for getting from the game to the hotel, anybody heading that way either from the stadium or following the coach drop off…...

Re: GENK COACH: Train Station - Stadium and return

Morning all. 44 confirmations, if I could ask everybody for the time being to pay £13.50 each. It comes to £594 and using the great metric that is tesco exchange rate it works out at 674 euros (660 for coach, 14 for the foodbank as it stands). If we get a full coach happy to refund everybody the ex...

Re: Where are folk staying for Genk?

I have a bit of a problem. I'm booked on the 12.50 friday Manchester to Charleroi flight and travelling by train to the Genk or Hasselt area. I received a match ticket on e.mail. I'm going home on Sunday from Charleroi at 12.50 also. Thing is I've not found any suitable accommodation for an individ...

Re: Where are folk staying for Genk?

We are staying at the hotel aqua, about 20 minutes walk from the grand place. The trains coming to and from genk are every hour, last one is about 9pm. Having been to Belgium twice in the past year, I've found the trains to be punctual and decent. The area in genk to eat and drink looks next to the...
