Re: Man City vs The SUPER CLARETS - MATCH THREAD
Esteve a game to forget, 2 own goals then jumped into Ekdal who was already heading it out for the final goal. I’d rather he get all his mistakes out in a game that we were never going to win anyway. We move on!

Re: Man City vs The SUPER CLARETS - MATCH THREAD
Clever little push on Ekdal by Nunez to create that bit of space for when the header came back in from Haaland. Keep on going and who knows we could get back level…playing well to be fair

City player waves an imaginary card, this time Rob Jones luckily ignores him and decides not to book the Burnley player (as is generally the rule when big teams are playing)

City player buys a foul, acts in pain to get Hartman a yellow then gets straight up laughing with his teammate. Nice one ref.

Re: more planned alterations at Turf Moor
For whatever reason it's just unfathomable to some on here that these changes have had a profound impact on some of our disabled and/or elderly fans. Not really, I was just being daft for a moment. I agree with most other posters on this one. The changes really haven’t been thought through properly...

Re: more planned alterations at Turf Moor
It took me an extra 6 hours to get back to the car on Sunday. The queueing at the JM bottleneck and past the Liverpool team coaches was too much to handle for me and my multitude of children so we were forced to lift a manhole and crawl through the drains like rats being summoned by the pied piper o...

Not sure on that one but there’s also the U21s playing at Turf Moor on Friday night, 7pm KO (just in case it wasn’t on your radar).

Re: New season New Beer/Food offerings…
Got a pie which was ok but not exactly deep filled so won’t be bothering again especially given the price. Not as I remembered a Haffners pie although not had one for quite a while. Will try one from the Cricket Club next time I think. Beer was ok (Poretti in the fanzone) but the paper cups are crap...

A lot of the tickets in there will have been taken up by Mackems. Will be the same for most matches in the Prem, especially with the big price hike.

Used to be the same at the Turf but they’ve got round it by having the one-way film applied to the glass. I believe you’re not allowed to be seen drinking alcohol from the playing side (I have no idea why, presumably it could upset someone at home watching on SkyTV)…

Re: Access for home fans
Came down early to the Fanzone to give it a try. They have stopped doing food/pies inside completely so you have to go outside for that and can bring it back in. Drinks are still cheaper in the “early bird period”. Walked across with my daughter to see the players arrive and it took the stewards a b...

So much for wanting more fans to stay up to the final whistle and beyond. Will be half empty in the JH with 10 mins to go as people rush to avoid the bottleneck around the back of the Jimmy Mc….no thought has been put into this at all. Surely having 1-2 exit only gates say at either end of the fan z...

Re: New Layout of Cricket Field
Maybe they could look at adding exit only gates through the wall leading to the path through the housing estate (back end of the fanzone)? That would give people the chance to get out towards the fire station area yet keep the Burnley fans separate from the current path down the side of the cricket ...

Can’t wait to see him glide through Leeds centre in a kaftan, trilby, clogs and eye shadow combo. Will spark a new trend in Yaarkshire no doubt. Reckon he’ll get 10-15 goals though.

The amount of times Flemming is ragged about and doesn’t get a free kick is drives me mad. Today he got more than usual to be fair. We need to start making him wear shirts that are of a thinner material so that they rip more easily. He definitely reminds me of a young Ashley Barnes which is not too ...

Hope you manage to get some tickets (but in the upper tier just in case).
