I know it's a fine line and it could have gone to penalties but I think last night told us that we have a much stronger squad than the last time. I can see a good number of last night's squad pressing for regular PL starts and that has to be a good thing considering how well we played on Saturday.

I wouldn’t care where we are, I’m going to watch my team play and will have a season ticket as long as I can afford one regardless of where we play. I don't think we are in a MUST need position. We have a strong bench with a few others already at the club who can add significantly to the match day squad. I'm happy to go with what we have unless a Walker type signing presents itself.
We still need some transfers out.

I'd be happy to see Liverpool drop out and Isak have to make a grovelling apology to the fans.
There must be better ways for a footballer to handle situations like this. As for short careers, I think we moved on from that argument a long time ago. Especially for footballers playing at top levels.
