Re: The three promoted clubs. Are the actually good?
A tug of the shirt here, turning your back in the penalty area there. Silly errors that can be eliminated or a sign that we have a naivety that will haunt us all season? You decide. Sunderland's bubble will eventually burst but when? Looking forward to their game at Old Trafford at the weekend so so...

The days of identifying which are the good and bad refs seem to have gone. They are all bad. Granted not helped by the rules in some cases and the introduction of VAR. I don't think their ruling body and Howard Webb are helping.

I have no issue with the side selected to start but would have liked to see 2-3 first teamers on the bench. We have cried out for cover in every position for ages and now that we've got it we have to use it. It was a disjointed side and one or two defenders were so poor, lack of match fitness cannot...

Was looking forward tonight to seeing some quality fringe players busting a gut to prove they’re good enough for the first eleven. Don’t know what tonight was, but it definitely wasn’t that. The teams that have had a dodgy start are exactly the ones you would have wanted to do so : Wolves, West Ham, Brentford. I'm happy at that as well as our very solid defensive start. Scoring 2 goals in five of our games is calming my worry that we might not score enough. We are a team that is progre...

Yep, spot on. If you think back to Dyche’s survival teams, there’s no way we give away two late penalties. Did we ever? There was no naivety about us and those potential points would be in the bag. You can’t just rely on beating ‘teams around you’ either. Once or twice you have to collect unexpecte...

I'm not diminishing our performance today at all, every one of them were beasts defensively and we had the perfect gameplan to attack on the counter when we could. There seems a lot more winnable games than the last time we were in this division. Absolutely no reason to be worried that we are going to have a repeat of the Kompany season.
