Re: Broja

He was getting an absolute slating from Albanian national team fans on Twitter last night. Apparently subbed off at half time because he looked terrible. Gutted for him. Really should have gone to Newcastle in hindsight.

From a purely selfish BFC perspective, I'm glad we got top dollar for him when we did. His stock was at an all time high - and we got Dubravka for a fraction of the cost, who I think will actually perform better this season.

It's called a tifo. The design is printed on transparent netting and as you say, hung vertically from the top of the stand (or sometimes by the fans).

Good article. Only watched the game on telly and the manner in which we lost really put a dampener on my Saturday evening. Can imagine it was far more disappointing having been there in person. On the penalty, ultimately it is a foul which continued into the box. Daft of Jaidon to concede it. I'm mo...

You're right, but it's a good early indicator regardless. How many promoted teams of the past 10 seasons who didn't hit 11 points by GW10 went on to stay up? I got ChatGPT to crunch the numbers on this as I was interested. Can't speak to the accuracy as I'm no statistician. Past ten seasons, points...

The BBC doesn't say that all those clubs who failed to attain 11 points were relegated. So it's really irrelevant.

If we do then I'd imagine we'd have to win at least 2 out of Forest, Leeds and Wolves. It'll take some doing given the high quality of the rest of the opponents.
Agree with that. Win two of those, draw one and a draw somewhere else (perhaps Manure this weekend..) - tall ask.

I think it's a reasonable move as long as we get market value in return for his loan - and we're not subsidising more than we would a loan to an unrelated club. TBH - although he's clearly got talent and bags of pace, he's been pretty poor and a frustrating watch. Not sure how he's the spark of crea...

He just needs to put a transfer request in to the club. Of course, that means he's effectively ending his contract and not eligible for any bonuses tied to length of service. So he won't. Instead he's trying to manipulate the club publicly into letting him go without any financial penalty to himself...
