Re: Manchester Today
Awful, awful event. Gutless attack on innocent people heading to a place of worship on their holiest day. I've lived not far from this place but moved away. Always baffled me that there was a huge Hasidic Jewish community (Heaton Park/Prestwich) that bordered a huge muslic community (Cheetham Hill) ...

Seems to me that the game will need laws brought in to avoid computers taking over mid-match changes. It’d be like hatred of VAR on steroids. Why? I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't happening already btw - you'll notice most managers have ipads in the dugout now. There are probably tons of AI in...

On a PPG basis of 0.75 so far, that puts us on 29 for the season, and that's before you take into account the difficulty presented by the calibre of teams we've faced so far. I think we've more than a decent chance of staying up this time around.

Gutted for him. Really should have gone to Newcastle in hindsight.
From a purely selfish BFC perspective, I'm glad we got top dollar for him when we did. His stock was at an all time high - and we got Dubravka for a fraction of the cost, who I think will actually perform better this season.

It's called a tifo. The design is printed on transparent netting and as you say, hung vertically from the top of the stand (or sometimes by the fans).

Good article. Only watched the game on telly and the manner in which we lost really put a dampener on my Saturday evening. Can imagine it was far more disappointing having been there in person. You're right, but it's a good early indicator regardless. How many promoted teams of the past 10 seasons who didn't hit 11 points by GW10 went on to stay up? I got ChatGPT to crunch the numbers on this as I was interested. Can't speak to the accuracy as I'm no statistician. Past ten seasons, points...
