It is an issue we are going to have and not really sure what to do yet?!? Probably going to open and see what happens, as in where the trade comes from most food/drink family's/not etc etc. But if that's the hardest thing we have to deal with I'll be a happy bunny.

My lease is ending but we've managed to save, beg, borrow and steal enough to buy 8 st James place just around from us. Luckily I run a free house but for many landlords they are tied to breweries or pub company's which tell you what you are paying and a lot of these pub have to pay up to double the amount I do for there beer.

For us in here it's a small pub but I have an 80inch tv, 60 inch, 50 inch tv and a 42 inch running from 3 sky boxes show we can show 3 channels at once, for us a wet only pub it does pay, but other pubs locally have taken it out as is not worth it for them.

I run a pub in ilfracombe north Devon, all our ale is priced at £3 a pint running 6 different ales at a time. What people need to understand now is wages start at £7.50 an hour we open for 14 hours a day, I work 60 hours a week on the bar but I'm still left with a large wage bill. Rent is £2500 a mo...

Leaving ship and pilot ilfracombe and moving to 8 st James place currently a tea garden but we're converting it to a restaurant/bar. Moving in October opening early December.

Like a couple of others on here 37 this year leaving pub I have run for 7 years to set up a restaurant and bar but mortgage needs forcing me to sell my beloved Rolex Daytona panda dial and Star Wars collection but it will be worth it.
